    Cake Stands

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get cupcake stands (or simply 3 tiered cake stands) as I am planning a party for my baby. I need about 8 stands, and the only place I found to have them is Complete Deelite, but they only have 3.

    Please help, thanks

I saw them at City Super in Times Square, at the baking section about 2 months ago.

I was thinking of buying them as well then but thot I better wait till I get a real good cupcake recipe... anybody would like to share some recipe of cupcake here, especially on how to make those thick and colourful ( and hopefully delicious) icing on the cupcake.

    thanks.

    Thanks Rani and Arwen,

Will have a look at both places. For recipes, I got mine off martha stewart's website as there are some easy ones there. They have the colourful icing you want as well.

We actually use the Betty Crocker cake mixes you get in ParkNShop. The supermoist ones just melt in your mouth and the kids love them. We use buttercream icing. Here's the link.

    Thanks Rani,

Have a looked at the site and found that the icing needs vegetable shortening and confectioners' sugar.
These two ingredients are unfamilar to me. Is confectioners' sugar icing sugar? Where can I find these?

Also, where can I buy those icing tints to create those soft pastel colours?

    Thanks

    Arwen
