Hi,

Anyone has any brilliant ideas for holding baby showers in Hong Kong, other than just having friends over to my apartment to open presents? Any external venues recommended?

Any restaurant in LKF or Soho. You can have lunch first followed by presents. I had a surprise shower at Stormies, and a friend had hers at the Peak Lookout! Depends how big the party is. Most of the restaurants will be happy to do afternoon tea instead of lunch.

We once hired a junk to go to Lamma for lunch, then opened presents on the trip home. It was very nice.

For something really unique, you can do a "Mother Goddess Blessing"... it's a twist on the baby shower. More info on what it's about on http://www.themoderngoddess.com.hk/
