Redness in the folds of skin

My baby has redness / rash in the folds of her skin. What can I put there? I remember people saying that baby powder is not good for babies. My mom used to put that on us whenever we had any redness from the heat. The redness is everywhere from arms, to legs to her neck.

baby powder made of talc is no good. talc free baby powder made with usually corn starch is ok. i personally find those made with corn starch not effective though. so i did still use talc, but instead of pouring it all-over. i put on my palm & pat gently on her skin.

baby powder is your best bet. i think if you don't sprinkle it high, it should be OK.

they sell liquid baby powder so you won't have to worry about the talc getting into the baby's lungs. they sell them in most baby stores.

Sudocreme is great. I used pretty much any nappy creme I had at the time.

Don't forget to give her some 'air time', let her have her nappy off for an hour or so. Could be messy but you can control it with towels!
