August Activities for 5 year old

Unfortunately I have to work and am at a bit of a loss what to tell my helper to do with my 5 year old. She is already bored and has only been back from holiday for a week! I dont want her watching TV all day - any ideas/advice would be welcome!

I have a book

Hong Kong for Kids (written by Cindy Miller Stephens)

some things don't exist anymore (like the Teddy Bear Kingdom) but my favourite place to go to is Paddle Boating at Wong Nai Chung Reservoir Park - absolutely loads of fun and bring bread to feed the fish and turtles!

Art and Craft activities would be nice. Ask your helper to guide her to make simple stuff. You can also buy guide books from popular or other bookstore.

If there is a park nearby ask your helper to take her there after 4 pm when the sun is not so hot. Bycicling would be fum too :)

My daughter got bored on her fourth day of summer holiday :) too.
