Hi, Ladies!
I am planning to buy Moses Basket or Bassinet for baby

Could anyone tell me the differences of these two (or

Hi Hi!

i was thinking of getting a Moses basket for my baby due in Dec 07 as my current bedroom is too small to place a big cot.

the advantage is baby can sleep with me while she is still so small.
however, my impression is that baby will outgrow the Moses basket is about 2-3 mths?

can anyone kindly advise on the advantages of Moses basket so i can make a better decision if i should get the basket?

Thanks alot!!! :)

Really depends how big your baby is at birth!! My daughters slept til 4 and half months but it was nearly too small by then. I know many people who's baby sleeps at least one month if not two.. Hope that helps!

We only used it for 3-months. Loved that it had wheels and we could move it from room to room easily. See if you can borrow one or get a 2nd hand one.

Moses Basket

I just bought 2nd hand moses basket + stand (Mamas & Papas brand)
from expat lady.

It was almost brand new condition and it was absolutely great deal than buying brand new one since I was told from many other mums that I would used it only for few months (longest up to 6 months).

So I recommend to buy it 2nd hand, too.
I saw quite few ads selling them from HK$250 to HK$1,000 or so.
