shivering in the womb

Hello,
I feel since maybe 3 month sometimes a shivering / vibraion of the baby in the womb ( I am now 39 weeks pregnant). It does not last long - just some seconds. It is not regular - maybe once in a week or two weeks. I still had it until last week...
I asked my Doc - he doesn't know what I am talking about...
Has anyone here experienced this and know a reason why?
Thanks.
Heike

hi,

I thnk I know what you mean - it's happening to me quite often (I am now 35 weeks) - say once a day? : ) I think it's normal or at least I don't worry about it as I had it when I was pregnant with my first! Hope that helps.....

I'm 35 weeks pregnant, and I'm also experiencing the same thing! It feels like my baby is "vibrating" in my tummy. My sis-in-law also experienced this so I think it's normal.

no, that is a tightening of the belly/womb. No shivering...
