Recovery after C-section?

I had a C-section nearly a month ago to deliver my twins. However, my incision still feels a little sore and my uterus feels a little bit uncomfortable when I walk. I just wondered how long it took for everyone to recover from their C-sections?

with my first, i wasn't completely comfortable for at least a couple of months (i had developed an infection, so i'm sure this delayed full recovery). i couldn't sleep on my side for at least 4 weeks.

with my second, i was sleeping on my side after 4 days....

I started exercising at 6 weeks, no sit ups though. It's now a bit more than 2 months. I look like I'm 5 months pregnant and still have 8kgs to lose. :(
