Talking Things to buy for March baby

I am starting to shop around for baby stuff. My baby is due in March. Just wondering whether you can share your experience about things that newborns will need in that climate. Will the baby need jersy knit swaddle blankets or flannel swaddle blankest? What kind of clothes will it need? How many items of clothing will I have to prepare for 0-3 months as I know babies drool alot and tend to outgrow clothing at lightning speed. Many thanks in advance from this first timer!

I'm due in March too and a good friend of mine advised me not to get jersey knit clothes and blankets - go for the cooler option but layer them. Also use bibs to mob up the drooling!

Also found a good book that had a list of clothing to prepare but I'm still figuring out what they are! Does anyone know the difference between a stretch suit and a bodysuit!?

    Fellow first timer!
