    Where to buy hip carrier?

Does anyone know where to buy a baby hip carrier in HK? My son is too big for the traditional carriers, but too heavy for me to carry without support...

I use the Ergo baby carrier that you can use to carry your baby in front, hip and back. It supports babies up to 40lbs. I ordered mine from a online store based on Macau. Delivery was really fast - literally the next day after they recieved my payment. My son is also very large and outgrew the baby bjorn. It just wasn't comfortable for either one of us anymore.

thanks! does anyone have experience with the hippychick hip carrier and wouldn't mind sharing some comments? is it actually useful and lives up to its purpose to relieve weight off the spine and corrects posture? does the child have tendency to slide off? etc. etc.

    Hippy Chick

The Hippy Chick is great for easy "quickies" to carry bub for less than 30 min to places close to home. I used it to carry my little one to the playground in my condo or very quick grocery shops. You still need a free hand (and arm) around the baby or even a toddler because they WILL fall off without one.

I have other baby carriers such as ring slings, structured carriers (like a Bjorn) and backpacks for long walks and hikes. Any of these are more practical because you don't need the extra hand/arm for support. :yeah2
