How long does ESF need for an answer?
We applied to the ESF Kindergarten in Tsing Yi, we both are non-Chinese speakers. I did not get an answer from ESF yet, how long does it usually take for them to get back to you?

I don’t know the answer to your question as my experience is with older children. But I’d contact them and keep contacting them until you have an answer you are happy with. I’ve found the administrators at the ESF will forget about you unless you keep on at them.

Hi stanley
You should have initially received an email to say they had received your application. And then they would send out a letter to say whether your child will be interviewed or not. You should have had it by now as I know my friends children have interviews at the end of Jan 08 but for Quarry Bay School. Maybe you should call them and check to make sure.
Hope that helps.

Thanks. I think the Kindergarten is without interview. We received a confirmation that they got our application and that they will get back to us. They also mention several time that you should not contact them and inquire about the status of the application.

When we applied to ESF KindySheung Wan 3 years ago, I think we got our acceptance letter in Jan, for the September intake. But I'm not 100% sure.

Dear Stanley,
You may take mid-December as a reference date asI've heard from friends that they receive their letters in mid-Dec last year. Hope it helps!

Stanley,
I remember I got the acceptance letter some time in March for the September intake. They invited me to attend an orientation in May and I had to decide whether to accept the offer or not within a week. However, this was my experience back in 2005. Hope it helps.
