baby arrived! and sound proofing

baby has arrived last week!

got a question on sound proofing. we haven't remodelled yet so the new baby doesn't have a his own room. i was planning rooming in for a while but this one's a loud crying and my 2 y.o. is a super sensitive sleeper.

i remember seeing ideas on sound proofing doors (and possibly walls! as my 2 y.o. has one of those walls with a few glass components on it) a while ago but couldn't find the thread again.

are there pieces i can attach to doors or doorframes to help block out noise?

Yes, you can buy plastic stick-on like tubes that you put around the door or frames. There are also different stick-ons for the bottom of the door. You can get them at Pricerite though Park n Shop etc. may have them too.
