    Thanks for all your replies. Good to know that it's not all bad news.

    MK29, can you recommend a good endocrinologist? So far, my GP is managing my levels, but now that I am trying for #2, I want to have a specialist check me out. Even with thyroxine, I don't feel as "youthful" as I used to and cannot afford to get much more tired with a toddler running around and perhaps being pregnant again!

    I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism back in college. I've been taking medication since about 1992. It took me over four years to get pregnant with our first, which we are expecting this summer. It's been a pretty normal pregnancy, so I am assuming delivery should be fairly normal too. I feel blessed that we can start a family.

    As mentioned before, my dr is very good, he is an endocrinologist and is very well known in his field. He is managing my levels very well especially now that I am in my second pregnancy. Good luck !
