Which is the best light weight stroller for new born?
Hi ladies,
Which is the best and most reasonably priced light weight stroller for a new born to one year?
I know I might be asking too much but am keen for a multipurpose one so I dont need to buy three!!!
Thanks in advance.
Take care, trace

We've been looking at prams too...We like the look of the Graco, which is light weight (5kg), very easy to fold, and looks like it'd be good for getting around HK (we went to a few shops and tested them!). It was for newborn to 2/3 years old and around HK$1100.
If anyone has any other suggestions I'm interested to hear as well!

I've am currently using a Maclaren Techno XT in England and I can't fault it apart from the small shopping basket. Not sure if it's suitable for HK but you can purchase one from Mothercare for around $1700.00.

i'm using the Peg Perego Aria, super light weight! (10 lbs) easy to fold plus HUGE basket compare to the combi ones i've seen. However, not quite for new born since it doesnt recline flat, but almost.. it says 3 months up.

If you take a lot of taxis, I found one that a Maxi cosi or similar car seat fits into vital. You can wear them in a sling or bjorn, but it's not that safe. I was a in a taxi accident and though it was only a small one, I was glad she was in the maxi cosi.
It's not too hard to manage as you just pop the car seat into the cab and deal with the other stroller piece.

The MX3 is 9.8kg WITHOUT hood, shopping basket or raincover!
My Techno XT is only 6.5kg without hood, basket and raincover.Last edited by Speculator; 05-14-2008 at 04:42 PM.

Mine is from Combi, weighted 2.6kg, can be open and close with one hand and use from Day one. I don't think they carry the same model now but my friend just got one which weight 3.5kg with similar function.
