My sister is 10 and I've taken her to both Disney and OP - she said she liked them about the same - different things about both places... It probably depends on the kid too really...

Disney v Ocean Park

Thanks so much for your feedback.

Since posting I have now visited both Ocean Park and Disney, and have decided there is a place for both of them, depending on what what you need at the time.

We had a wonderful time at Disney, the rides, the characters and the parade. My 3 year old loved it and could relate it to things he had seen on TV, so it was more magical for him. It was also easy to get around with a stroller, however abit farther to go, and a longer day out.

Ocean park however is almost on our doorstep, and with the annual pass we can go back without too much planning just for a short visit, and do something different every time. Saying that it is a real pain with a stroller - especially the aquarium side.

So I guess both are good really. Thanks again for your own thoughts.

OP hands down. In a nutshell, OP offers what you want and is willing to change and improve; Disney offers what they want you to buy.

Sorry, I'm feeling anti-MNC today...
