If anybody has an employer-recommended helper (either your own helper or from a family you know) already in HK that will be available to start somewhere between the mid to end of July, please pm me.

She would be caring for a family of four (one primary and one secondary age child) -- shopping, cleaning, cooking, watching to check homework actually gets done -- just in general lending a helping hand!

Thanks to everyone who wrote or pm-ed me about the helper position.

I was able to find a helper this past weekend. A very good agent (a friend of a friend recommended her) helped me navigate the complexities involved of obtaining a local hire on very short notice.
