Lindam Baby Monitor -picking up neighbor's conversation

I was making sure my monitors are working before the arrival of our boy and I noticed I was picking up my neighbors conversation on both channels when I had just the parent monitor turned on!!!! So... be careful what you say around your monitors, as you never know who may be listening....Anyone else notice this?

I have a different brand monitor but I found that during the early months of breastfeeding I would experience a lot of let down based on my monitor picking up a baby crying from the next tower! AND the cat next door!

Happens a lot - so do be careful - more of a problem with the older models it is about 10 years since I have been regularly using them - I think the new ones (digital????) are much better - I have heard loads of nieghbours conversations over the years - once we heard an argument that sounded so violent we weren't sure if we should call the police !!!

Watch what you say.
