Kids' Activities in London

We will be in London with a 3 year old and a 18 month old in August. I am doing due diligence as to the "must-do" kids' acitivities in London for that age range. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

Hi there - one suggestion might be the London Aquarium, its near the London Eye on the South Bank of the Thames, which my little niece aged 3 found fascinating, get there early though as it gets v. busy - but that's true of all tourist attractions in London.

Family activities

We use Spoonfed (http://www.spoonfed.co.uk) which is a London events listing but it tags all the family events. I'm not sure if this link will work, but you can click here:

for all upcoming family events in London at museums, galleries, etc. So far it's the only event listing site I've found that does has family things! My kids (7 and 4) love the museums with interactive exhibits so that's always a good choice. Good luck with your trip!

Take them to the Natural History Museum. Free Entry every day. see http://www.nhm.ac.uk/visit-us/galleries/index.html

Then go next door to the science museum

London Zoo - I don't think kids in HK get to see Elephants etc very often!

Maybe a trip to Hamleys Toy shop on Regent Street. The toys are overpriced, but worth a visit.

Further up Regent street near Oxford Circus, there's the Mamas and Papas flagship store. If you're lucky, there might be a sale on.

They also have a cafe located inside the store with baby changing facilities.

Also, you may want to visit the Disney Store on Oxford Street, nearest tube station is Bond Street. The stairs to the first floor are rather steep so be careful.
