Advice for day-to-day transportation of two babies needed.

I am pregnant with my second child and as my first will only be 12 months when number two arrives I'm not sure how the day-to-day logistics are going to work.

Any recommendations on buggies or carriers that are HK friendly? I don't have my own a car so a double stroller is probably out given all the escilators in this town.

Also, any practical advice on travelling in taxi's with two very little ones and keeping a tight reign on a 1-year old while caring for a newborn.

So many questions ad so little time to get organised. I am just in the stress zone at the moment.

Hi !

Maybe you can use a stroller with a carseat for your newborn and your babycarrier for your first one ? or the contrary ;) I agree, that's not gonna be easy...

Phil & Teds Double Stroller

I use the Phil & Teds Double Stroller, it's up and down, not side by side, and I use it on the escaltors here, no worries.

Or how about you put newborn in a front-carry sling while you push your toddler?

Good luck with everything! I managed as best as I could for a while with my two (now 3!) when I first arrived, but ended up buying a car!

if you are dismissing the double buggy because of escalators - don't. They do fit - I have the McLaren Twin Techno, and fits onto 99% of escalators.

Hi

I've also used the Phil and Ted's and I absolutely love it. It's especially great when you need to get your toddler out at the same time as your bub needs a sleep because the little one can lay down flat and the bigger one sits above bub. I have travelled on plenty of escalators and trains with my Phil and Ted's and it's very easy. Good luck.

Thanks for the great advice. I have looked at the Phil & Ted's website and there are several styles. Which one do you use?

KatBoo - thanks for clearing up the whole double buggy and escalator issue.

All input greatly apprecaited!
