Rule on becoming a flower girl twice

My daughter will be a flower girl again for my husband's bestfriend's wedding.

This will be her second time.

I've heard that in the Chinese tradition, this is not allowed.

Is this correct?

Twice is ok! Old Chinese say if a person has been a flower girl three times or more, she will not be able to get married. Believe it or not.....

Being flower girl is not a chinese tradition, have not heard of anything about restriction on the no. of times one can be flower girl. There is a saying, but not necessary Chinese, that one should not be bridesmaid more than twice. Think that's more to do with if 2 good friends (assuming of same age) are married and have asked you, for a 3rd time, it means you may be sitting on the shelf when the rest of your friends are married.
