my daughter, 1 year old, is diagnosed with atopic eczema. the dermatologist wouldn't want to make any food allergy tests as he considers her too young. his explanations (sort of) make sense to me (he emphasizes skin care at this stage); however, i've read in older threads here and other places that babies or toddlers do get allergy tests done, even below 1 yr of age..
my questions now are:
1. did you have them done when your bub was a baby (around 1 yr old)?
2. if yes, was it really helpful? did this help to trace back the reason for the flare-ups?
3. where did you have your allergy tests done?
