July - Sept - birthing, any tips

Hi July-Sept ladies,

I am thinking with some walks (:-) I will be going into labour inside 72 hours.... any tippers?

I have to share that I am daunted and a little nervous about the labouring process. Sometimes I also wish I was the first out of our group.

I have made decisions about the plan, who is to be present, their roles etc but would like any tippers on how to manage my pain (without anger or other emotions). Or am I trying to control the uncontrollable??

I finished work today - thank the lord so tomorrow means a good sleep in!!! If I am around - would anyone like scone Thurs pm around 3pm?

Anyway.... best be off... see you gals soon.

love trace

hey chicks,

in your reading / experiences - how many hours apart is the birth show to when labour starts?

not that it has happened but certainly feel my pelvis moving. Walking isnt as easy as it was yesterday!

still thinking I might make Friday at/by 5pm afterall.

xxx

I dont have any tips for you...still waiting for anything to happen. But if you're up for a coffee this arvo, let me know 6332 3622. We'd have to scope a new locale tho...no scones on weekdays at the PR!

I'm coming in for a foot massage and then would love to have a coffee afterwards. I agree we need to find somewhere new :)

For me the `show' and labour (mild contractions) pretty much came together. Initially I had just very mild aches like period pains about every 20 mins, then the show. My babies were born within 12 hours after.
