Hi!

I am looking for a babysitter to care for my 3 year old son. My husband and I like to go out on Saturday nights for some alone time and our current sitter is no longer available.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I know about the rent-a-mums and other agencies, but they can be a bit expensive. I might have to suck it up and go with them, but I just wanted to explore my options.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

we use our helper who lives with us... i guess you don't have a live-in?

No, we do not have a live-in. I only need help once a week in the evening so a live-in is not necessary. I just need a babysitter for about 5 hours on Saturday nights so my husband and I can get out together alone.

If someone uses a part-time helper that they would recommend and is available during that time, that would be a good help. Or any other ideas!
