early readers in chinese
Can anyone recommend some early readers for learning to read chinese. For example in englishwe have books that go like this:
I see a horse
I see a cow
I see a dog, etc,
They are very repetitive sight reading books, is there any eqivalent in chinese?
In canda they have stores like education station and scholars choice which have a lot of learning materials and also have websites where you can buy stuff online, are ther any stores like that in HK that also have websites?

I've been doing the translation myself for several years. When I see some books in English are good or liked by kids, I just write the Chinese translation on the page as well.

That's great idea, but unfortunatly, beyond my ability, I am 99.99% illiterate in Chinese.
