Help! Finger got too big for ring My fingers have swollen so much during pregnancy. I need to get my wedding ring off since it's cutting off circulation. Does anyone know where I can go to get my ring cut off or what to do?

The exact same thing happened to me. I put my hand into a bag of frozen peas until the swelling had gone down slightly but then the problem is that the ring has also shrunk with the cold. So we put a teaspoon into boiling water then gently pressed it onto the ring, making sure not to touch my finger. The ring expanded again but my finger was still cold. Then loads of washing up liquid, tugging and whatcha know.... Genius. I was so relieved. Hope it works for you too. Good luck

Thanks ladies. I've finally got the wedding ring off. Yeah!!! I sprayed lots of windex (glass cleaner) on the finger and slowly twisted the ring. Be patient and keep on spraying the windex. It took about 20 minutes. It was a very painful experience but it worked. My advice is to take off your wedding ring before you have to experience my scenario.
