    Furniture in Horizon Plaza

Can anyone recommend the best furniture store in Horizon Plaza? We are looking for a tv like console - dark wood, asian inspired. We are looking for a furniture place there where there is room to negotiate, good quality and fair lprices.

If you have a favorite store, please share!

    Thanks!

I've had very good experiences with Oriental Home, 20/F. I like modern furniture combined with a few Asian, simple pieces. Mary has been helping me all 3 occassions. I think current circumstances are pretty tough so chances for better deals. It's antique by the way, but not very very old (so therefore prices are reasonable).

I really like Shambala - more Indian-inspired, which I like. Just yesterday we bought some lovely dark-wood pieces from there, including a buffet/sideboard which we will use as a tv console.

    it's on the 2nd floor.

shambala deliver, for a fee...a bit ridiculous given that if you need them to deliver you've likely spent a bit with them...but still...it's easier than trying to cart it home yourself!

I've had several very good experiences with Oriental Home on the 20th. I have several friends that have bought there, also without problems. I had some cracks in a piece due to humidity/dryness after a year, and she had somebody come by to fix it when he was in the area for free. They charge $200 for cheaper items to deliver, but with more expensive items it's usually included. Ask for Mary, she's been very nice. I always stop by to say hi although I don't buy much anymore (except small boxes or small item I can't resist) since I am running out of space but she's always friendly!
