    Bookshelves - display kind?

I am wondering if anyone has bought the "display" type of bookshelf recently in HK? I want to find a way to store my baby's many books but in a way that lets her see the cover and choose the books.

Any suggestions for what type of shelf to buy, and where I can buy them?

    Thanks. :)

I just ordered some book bins from Lakeshore Learning, but they haven't arrived yet.

I don't find the display unit types of bookcases very practical, as I can't really store that many books in those. Unless you just plan to use the display cases purely for display and are planning on "changing" the books on the display case on a regular basis, you might be better off getting some book bins instead.

I had to order it through the local distributor. Call them up
at 2352-5330 or e-mail them at [email protected]. You will have to quote the item number listed on their online catalog. They will then give you a price in HKD.

To give you an example of their local pricing, the book bin set I ordered was listed as USD39.95 and the price that they quoted me was HK$419.

It takes a while, though, before you get your order (at least six weeks).

The shipping charges from the US are built in to the prices that the local distributor quotes.

The local distributor offers free delivery for orders over HK$1,000. I'm not sure how much they charge for orders less than that. We usually pool our orders together so that we get free delivery.

The arts & craft stuff are really, really nice. :) See this.
