Six in one vaccination - advice needed

Six in one vaccination - advice needed
my baby just had the six in one vaccination this morning and she seems very sleepy the whole day (she sleeps a lot more than normal today) and have some fever (37.8 C). is that normal?
gave her some medicine for reducing the temperature.
i am very worried
any advice is appreciated

my baby also had the fever when she first had the six in one vaccination & her temperature reached 38.1C. we gave her some panadol given by ped & it took an hr or two for her temperature to go back down. yes, she was also very sleepy & flushed. don't worry, this is very normal.

My baby did the same thing and just like you I was very worried and didn't sleep the whole night. The fever went away after about 24hours. She hasn't had a fever with the shots since. Hope that helps. Hang in there

6-in-1
hi,
i think babies will usually have fever if they take 6-in-1. that's because 6 different types of virus (dead or live) have entered their bodies at the same time. so when their little bodies are fighting the virus, they will have fever.. that's how their bodies,, learn and produce antibodies.
