well, i've just had a VERY YUMMY meal from Ruby Tuesday. i got the 50% off card and we ordered:
2 smokehouse burgers (OMG! were they ever good!)
    1 rack of ribs
1 large sampler platter (chicken wings, popcorn shrimp, calamari & mozza sticks)
    all told... $350!!!!

we'll be going back there again! we don't generally go out for western food as it's just too expensive, but with this 50% discount... we'll be doing it a LOT more often!

as for travelling... that's what i do for BK! we live in sai kung!

see, this is the problem i have.

i've been here for so long, that when i'm here, i think of canada as home. but when i'm there, i think of hk as home...

i don't really feel like i fit anywhere!

what i would miss about hk food:
    dumplings
    dim sum
    seafood
    GOOD S & S pork
    GOOD thai food
dried/sugared coconut @ chinese new year
    hui lau shan (sago drinks)
siu yuk (crispy skinned roast pork)
pee-ing shrimp (lai liu ha) preferably cooked with garlic, black bean & chili
hot pot (although no reason that i couldn't have that at home in canada)...
    korean bbq
