Do you want to make a difference to kids who need your help?

To all you mummies out there in HK land!

Are you looking for a charity to support or a way to make a difference in the lives of children who really need your help? We need you!

KIDS for Kids need your help to raise HK$2,709,900 for the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children (HKSPC): Children?s Residential Home (CRH) which is in desperate need of renovations In total, that's about US$350,000 or ?210,000.

    WHO IS KIDS FOR KIDS?

KIDS for Kids has developed from ?Mothers & Babies 07?, which was founded by women who met on, and supported each other through, the Geobaby Forum while pregnant in 2007. The group currently has members with origins from almost every continent in the world.

In celebration of our babies 1st birthdays between September and December 2008, we honoured them with a legacy to ?directly impact the lives of children in need?. To do this we decided to begin raising money for the HKSPC Children?s Residential Home.

Utilizing our personal financial resources we have since raised over HK$50,000 for much needed items for the Children?s Residential Home including:

    ? 200 winter jackets
    ? 5 Easy-Ride first Trikes for 1-3 year olds
? 6 months worth of medical supplies

Our aim is also to seek sponsorship and further ?exposure? of the organization within the community. We hope that through highlighting the needs of these precious children then other people might want to help in whichever way they can. And so we are appealing to all people that care for children - not just those who are mothers.

WHY IS THE RENOVATION URGENTLY NEEDED?

The Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children: Children?s Residential Home is located in Sham Shui Po, one of the poorest neighborhoods in Hong Kong. Currently there are 100 babies and children up to the age of three living in poor ventilated and cramped conditions.

ARE YOU FREE ON 22 OCTOBER FROM 3PM TO 6PM?

KIDS for Kids is holding a fundraising Afternoon Tea to launch our campaign for the HKSPC: Children's Residential Home. Come along for an afternoon of Cupcakes and Canapes and meet staff from the Children's Residential Home. Take part in our raffle, full of top prizes, and punt your price at our auction.

Audlin : Sorry, cannot attend. However, we'll send a donation on behalf of GeoBaby.Com, through to the SPC directly.

    Best wishes for the event.
