    What`s for breakfast, Moms?

I`m getting stuck on what to give my 9.5 month old for breakfast. I give combinations of the following: yogurt with fruit puree, oats (usually with fruit puree), banana cereal. He`s been rejecting the cereals lately unless they`re heavily laced with fruit.
What are you all serving your babies for breakfast?

I see you all are giving toast/waffle/bread. If I give that to my son, I`m lucky if half of it goes down. It usually ends up on the floor, in his highchair, in his bib. I still think I have to wait a bit to give him that. Eggs with cheese sounds yummy, but labour intensive since he`s not on whites yet. I guess I have to stretch out the yogurt and porridge some more......

I give my son brown rice flakes mixed with fruit and often add some quinoa flakes in too. I'm getting a bit bored of the breakfast routine too, and like you if I give him toast with vegemite most of it ends up on the floor :(.

You could try baked beans my son loves them. I haven't given any eggs yet, I'm waiting till he turns 1.

Baked beans eh? I love baked beans, but I`m a little fussy about what I feed him, in terms of processed-ness. Doesn`t baked beans have a lot of other ingredients in the can? Will check it out at the supermarket. Would like to get some Vegemite though. All I see at PnS are huge jars of Marmite - ew.
Today I gave my son halved blueberries and a piece of ripe pear. Then some banana whole wheat cereal which he wouldn`t eat until I smothered it in applesauce.
You can give your baby egg yolks - after 6-7 months it`s ok. They`re a nice addition to anything really, and healthy too.

Get the organic ones, the brand I used to buy in ThreeSixty is Biona and I think Heinz also do an organic version.

ThreeSixty and CitySuper also sell vegemite.
