Mine is refusing anything that has to be chewed!!!!!!!!!! Guess he's not ready, I tried so many different foods lately that I think he deserves a break!

My conclusion is that all babies and toddlers will eat at their own pace so..... I'll wait and see when he's ready.

    Thanks to All!

All you can do is offer, it's up to them to eat it ;)

Completely agree with Nicolejoy - just try, try, again!

Sedenya, both my children were non-chewers, but my younger one even more so than my older one. My 18-month old has only just started to eat red meat, shredded into tiny pieces. He ate lots of mush until 13-months - pureed carrots, potatos, sweet potatoes, broccoli, etc. He will eat congee cooked in stock, with mince chicken/fish and vegetables. He'll also eat some soft noodles and during the mornings, he'll get some cheerios/oatios/puffins with milk. Strangely, he'll eat diced soft vegetables and he actually prefers the stems to the leafy parts! For a non-chewer, he loves granola bars - yes, all the hard nuts, fruits, oats, etc. I don't understand, but it's nutritious, so I'm OK with it. I'm less happy that he likes McDonald's french fries, but then again, who doesn't? Finally, he always gets a cup of Pediasure to make sure he gets any other vitamins he's not getting during the day. Thank God, I'm still nursing!
