Nursery, Island East
Hi All
Wondering if anyone can help me in regards to pre-nursery/nursery in Island East, starting this September. I'm looking for somewhere that offers at least some Cantonese option, and would consider local. However, finding good recommendations as an Expat is proving tough!
We live in Heng Fa Chuen, and would consider as far as Causeway Bay. Looking for somewhere with a less rigid approach, and not impossibly large class sizes...
Would a call to the EDB be worthwhile?
Help!

Dear Jodymo
Here's a comprehensive list of legitimate kindergartens in Hong Kong East as compiled by the Education Department. ????? Kindergartens Profile
This may be a good place to start, especially in locating one near your home. Some participate in the voucher scheme which subsidizes the cost of your child's education so that it's almost free, but only if they meet maximum tuition limits. As you'll find, none of the "international" school meet that criteria. Hope this helps!
Regards
Yonge
