Anyone found treatment for Keratosis pilaris?

I have had Keratosis pilaris on my upper arms since the last 2- 3 years and quite conscious of it. So anyone else out there who had it and has found effective treatment for it?? In case anyone doesn't know this is what I am referring to: Keratosis pilaris - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
    Thanks :)

I have it all my life and it got worse during my pregnancy. I've only just found out what it is. My naturapath is waiting to get the allergen vial from the U.S. before treating me with NAET. Dr. Lynn Lim is with OT&P in Central. Here's their website:-

I have food allergies too, so she has treated me successfully for those.

    Good luck!

    advice

Here is the conventional advice- I expect you've been through it all, but just in case!

Look at Keratosis Pilaris | Doctor | Patient UK
Here are some recommendations from the British Association of Dermatologists (they aren't exactly helpful, but for what they're worth....):

?Avoid excessive dryness of the skin but emollients and moisturisers are of limited value. That is not to say that they have no value.
?Creams with salicylic acid, lactic acid or urea may be of value.
?Expensive cosmetic or vitamin creams are not helpful. (although there is a link with vitamin A deficieny so ensure you have sufficient in your diet without overdoing it, especially if pregnant/ planning to conceive when is can be harmful to supplement)
?An abrasive pad may be helpful.
?Take tepid showers rather than hot baths.

I have known a dermatologist successfully use roaccutane ( a very powerful vitamin A pill usually used for acne, with lots of horrible side effects) to treat this condition, but you'd have to put up with lots of potential side effects and it wouldn't be something I'd do without lots of thought!
