    Eating kleenex....

While I wasn't looking, my 11 month old may have taken a small piece of ripped up kleenex and eaten it....Sigh.....it shouldn'be be a problem right? I wish he would stop putting random things in his mouth!! Thanks from a worried first time mom.....

I found dog biscuits in the bath tonight, couldn't work out where they came from until I realised that he had been hiding in his mouth...

    Dog bisquits, ahahahaha!
Yes, FutureHKmom, my little guy also has a Kleenix addiction...can`t quite shake it.
He is also fond of any sort of fuzz, hair (especially straight from my head), anything leftover from mealtimes that I have missed, and random garbage bits on the floor.
He is very much still in the oral stage, at 13 months, and I don`t see it subsiding just yet:(

Just one thing about kids eating hairs... hairs are not digested through the intestines, and can become a real problem, as either they stay in the stomach, or make some little balls and hurt the intestines. I guess small quantity is still ok, but it's better to look after this habit. A friend had to have her son's head shaved because of this...

My 10 month old is a big fan of paper... tissue (wet and dry) papers of all textures. Recently it's the red packets from the lunar new year... heh...
