Does ESF always require an interview?
I contacted ESF and asked them if an interview is a must since I live overseas and don't plan to move to H.K. until next summer. I heard interviews usually start in Jan/Feb or so. They said the school will arrange an interview upon our arrival. I heard from someone that sometimes ESF offers a seat without an interview, is there any truth in it?

All ESF children must have an interview. I think it's some sort of standard procedure.
When I moved to HK as a high-schooler (years ago), I had my interview in August, after my GCSE results were released. But I still had an interview before they formally accepted me.
