Where to post ads for English/Creative Writing/Comic Book Scripting Tutoring?
Does anyone know where I can post ads for tutoring services?
I'm a published comic book writer, as well as an English tutor.
Beside the typical English tutoring, I also teach creative writing and comic book script writing.
Being new to Hong Kong I'm not entirely sure where to begin, so any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!

You can contact the YWCA and suggest it as a course with you as the tutor.

that's a great idea of honkyblues.
you could also contact the schools and talk about renting a room and running your own afterschool programme. i think there would be a great deal of interest.

@ alicecarlo - Email sent.
@ reei - Writing a comic is just the writing part. What your colleague is looking for is an art teacher that teaches sequential art. Each area of a comic book is usually handled by one person.
The art breaks down into three. Pencilier - (s)he draws everything in pencil. Inker - (s)he inks the pencils and adds shadows if need be. Colourist - (s)he that colours everything.
Drawing a comic requires skill in anatomy, lighting, perspectives, and layout (including knowing where to leave space for word balloons), etc.
All of this he will learn in time. His passion will be his driving force to wrap his mind around it all.
@ Honkyblues - That's a great suggestion. I'll give that a go and see where it leads. Thanks!
@ dimsum mum - Renting a room to teach my own after school classes would be terrific. That will come in time. Need to test the waters first.
