Cow's milk
Any mummies out there whose toddler doesn't like cow's milk? I want to start giving my 15 month old son some fresh cow's milk but he doesn't like it at all! I'm wondering if he will outgrow it....Also I think I read somewhere that you can mix cow's milk with made up formula milk in the beginning to get your child to like the taste and then decrease the formula milk amount in the mixture slowly until it's just cow's milk. Is that right? Thanks.

Can you try with different brand of milk? Don't know about toddler, but personally, I find that some brand of milk taste better than other.

When I started giving my son cows milk I mixed it with formula, at first it was half and half and then eventually less and less formula. Now he happily drinks cows milk, along with soy milk, rice milk and oat milk.

when i first introduced cows milk i added it to the pureed food i usually made and then slowly gave her regular cow's milk...0.5oz, 1oz. etc....also trying different brands might work as suggested...

You could also add a spoon of chocolate powder, or malt or something like that to disguise the taste. That's what worked with my daughter... It's not going to harm them - and there are some which even have a bunch of vitamins etc... (although most do still have a lot of sugar)

I have been(ridiculously) slowly adding less and less formula to my 17 months old milk. We`re nearly there:)

i tried 3 different ones before T liked what he drank. though he doesn't drink very much of it still

So if you mix formula with fresh milk, do you make up the formula and then mix it with the milk? Or do you spoon the formula straight from the can into the fresh milk?
