When choosing the school for your kid...
what is most important:
- the fact that students are happy there
or
- the quality of the program, activities, teachers there?
I visited two kindergartens recently and I noticed that in the kindergarten I liked most (staff was caring, program seemed very nice, etc.), the kids looked disinterested in the class. They looked too young or may be did not understand well English (which was the language used during the class and I heard there was a lot of Japanese children attending)...
On the other side, I visited a kindergarten with small premises, few toys BUT all the students were totally into the course, singing altogether :)
This made me reconsider my priorities before enrolling my daughter in a kindergarten and I was wondering which choice you would do.
Thanks.

I would go with a happy medium of the two. Neither paints a full picture. You were only there for a short time. I can tell you that even in my classes of 1.25 hrs, there are ups and downs, there are good days and bad days. you can never predict how the lesson will go over.
I can read a story to one class and it's loads of fun. Everyone is laughing and listening.
I can read exactly the same story in exactly the same way to another class and it falls flat.
I think you would need to go a few times on different days at different times to get a full picture of what the school is like.
Good luck! It's never an easy decision.
PS> hope the high chair is ok and wasn't in too bad of shape. I'd forgotten that it had been stored for 18 months...
