yell, scream, jump for joy... throw on clothes and head outside to make snowmen, sled, throw snowballs... somewhere in that process maybe I'd think to wake my children and bring them out with me haha... yes I miss snow that much!

I would bring the kids out to experience it. Forget hats - let the snowflakes fall on their hair, nose and eyelashes. Let them open their mouths to catch the snowflakes with their tongue. Lie on the ground and make snow angels. Bring out black pieces of construction paper and let them see different snowflake shapes as they fall onto the paper. Bring some in quickly and try to keep them in the freezer. Then afterwards, pull out some white paper and try to make paper snowflakes with a pair of scissors.

well, we just returned from a trip to canada and i will never forget my kids' disappointment when i woke them upon landing and they discovered that there was NO SNOW! the last time we were there, they had such a marvelous time making snow angels and snowmen and they were so disappointed this time not to get to have the same fun.

so, what would i do? i'd wake up my kids and we would be in the garden as fast as humanly possible to make snow angels and snowmen...
