Yes and they said they haven't tested napisan on their products so can't comment *roll eyes*
I think probably it's okay, it'll just degenerate the material faster.
Prettynvain, did you get the grovia all in 2's? I was looking at those and they seemed to make so much more sense cos the poo and wee goes directly on the inserts which you can wash separately in stronger stuff without affecting the outer materials and elastic etc of the shell. They will be my next purchase ;) , but I can't justify them yet in case it's all too much and I quit:D

Hi all,
Has anyone washed bumgenius nappies on a cold cycle only? We've recently relocated to HK n the washing machine I have only has cold wash on it. I do have a tumble dryer though.
I'm really looking forward to use the nappies on my little one again. I tried it on her when she was 2 weeks old but it leaked around the legs. I hope it's leaking because she's not big enough and not because the elastic has gone busted. After all, my son used them till he was 1 1/2.

Decided to buy Charlie Banana laundry powder after comparing some different brands and prices. Very surprisingly, it's actually not bad value!
I found Ecover in park n shop but its $69 for 10 washes only. Even if I only use half the amount, it's only 20 washes. Charlie Banana is $124 for 80 washes.
And soooooo, we are nearly all set to start :D

I use Charlie Banana for my baby girl too. I just rinse them before soaking both covers and inserts with plain water and throw them all into the washing machine at night. I got the Charlie Banana detergent but eventually I used normal detergent. On the website it sad to soak then in baking soda once in awhile to clear the residues. Hope this helps.

Hi Cheryl, thanks for replying. Which normal detergent do you use?
We've just started using them today. So far so good! No leaks, but we have been changing him quite frequently.
We are also going to rinse then soak in water until washing.
