    Huge stroller price difference

Went to the newly opened Cybex shop in Gallaria, was shocked by the far too over-priced buggies, accessories and car-seats! The Callisto buggy costs EUR249 in Europe which is equivalent to HKD2750 (you can even get around 14% VAT back if you are not a EU citizen), but they are selling at HKD8000, would you pay HKD8000 for an umbrella buggy? The shop owner must reckon parents are foolish... I rather go for McLaren or Silver cross for a similar umbrella buggy with less than half of the price of Cybex!

A lot of strollers seem to be fashion accessories these days, and priced as such! You can find good deals on buggies here on the Geobaby classifieds too if you are interested in that.

Strollers sold in HK costs more than overseas. They may cost hundreds more. I am trying to get a twins stroller but it's more expensive here than in US. They don't do shipping to HK from US.

I know a website www.thinktwins.co.au who delivers to hk.
they have babyjogger twin stroller. I m not sure how more expensive they are compare to the US.

Generally speaking australian websites deliver worldwide or within the asia pacific region. A lot more than US websites anyway

@TS - If you are interested in the Baby Jogger twin stroller, you could try this Canadian website www.boutiqueyourbaby.com. Call and ask for Julie. I haven't had any overseas shipping from them, but I had them ship a Baby Jogger stroller across Canada and their website mentions the possibility of international shipping I think. Price much cheaper than the Australian website.
