How is Norwegian International School in Tai wo?

Also Carang, does this schools work in 'zones' for admissions? Are there others in HK? We are not in Sai Kung but we are in the NT. I'm not totally keen on ESF as I'd like to continue along the road of a bilingual education (my son is at a kindergarten where they speak Chinese - canto & mandarin - and English).

yes, these schools are found throughout hk. Of course, some will have "white folk" and others will not...some of them have more south east asians and nepalese etc.

There is actually a list on the edb website...i have posted the link before, but will see if i can find it again when i'm not posting via mobile phone.

Thanks...I have actually found the link by myself on the govt website. Looks like LSY school is the only one anywhere near us. Won't hurt to check it out when the time comes.

our kids' kindergarten helped us with the application process and introduced quite a few schools to their students. as i said, there are quite a few kids from their kindergarten that will go onto LSY. by no means is it a "perfect" school, but there are many good things about it. LSY offers an "after-school homework" programme and i think we'll be making good use of it, especially if it cuts down the amount of time we have to slog through the homework at home!
