I think that anyone planning on having an epidural will require an anesthesiologist, as they are the ones that insert the needle, etc.....so depends on your birthplan, etc. The system over here is soooo different than in the US. When I got my first bill from first visit with Dr. Ghosh, it was just this old fashioned looking receipt that they said i could submit to insurance. In the states you need diagnosis codes, cpt codes, etc. I am curious how it will all wash out. But let's just keep our eyes on the prize, the little one is worth it. :) But they do make it very hard to budget and plan.
