Looking for a Hostel or a Guesthouse in HK

Would really appreciate help in finding a nice hostel, guesthouse or a budget hotel for a business traveller (not dorms, not shared with anyone, not love hotel, having personal washrooms in the room) at HK island or in Kowloon, near MTR station.

    Thanks a lot!

    P.S.Sorry for offtopic

Hop Inn was voted best hostel in Asia or something. I'm sure there's a reason for that. Good luck. :)

You can try http://www.airbnb.com/ or the new clone http://www.wimdu.com Both have a few options in Hong Kong.

    Hi there uhha,

Not sure if you still need the info, but just in case still helpful, you might want to checkout Golden Court Guesthouse located in Tinhau. They have more details posted on their Multiply account at http://goldencourt.multiply.com/.

Alternatively, there's another one in Causewaybay - HK Hostel. You may check their website at www.hostel.hk, please note that their site is best viewed using Explorer browser. Few navigations may not work if you open it with Chrome or Firefox.

Personally been to both places, though haven't really stayed there for overnights. Clean, and cozy. I recommend to friends when they're coming over to HK, so far they said it's good. Not too much on the pocket considering you will be out roaming the city most of the day, gets you through the night, and most convenient to transpo (since their both near the MTR stations).

    Hope this helps.
