Mine was at week 38 as well. It's safe, I think cos it's considered full term n u dont run the risk of getting into any drama if your baby decides to come out slightly early. My baby was healthy n of a good size. Hope to help!

I was 39 weeks. The more they stay in the better, until you reach 40 weeks( if there are no other medical conditions of course)

I had my elective c section at 37.5 weeks. 37 weeks is actually ok.

The lungs need time to fully develop, the earlier the baby comes out the higher the risk of breathing problems is. That is why it is reccommended to wait until 39 wks in most places.

absolutely - the longer, the better. i had it the first day of my 39th week. in the US, its' recommended at 39 weeks, but I know many in Asia have it at 38 weeks.

I had one at 37 week due to some complication, another one at 38 weeks. Both babies are a bit small but no big issue.
