    Nursing evening wear

I'll be attending my sister's wedding 6 weeks postpartum in Dec and will be nursing. Does anyone know of any shops or online sites to shop for nursing evening wear?

ha - I was a bridesmaid when my baby was 2 months old. She was in hospital and I was pumping 6 times a day. Fortunately I had a huge supply and could afford to pump and dump. The entire day, when I needed to pump, I had to strip down completely!!! Hope you have better luck than I did ;)

    Hi,

You may be able to get away with a dress which is not specifically designed for nursing. My sister was nursing on her own wedding day, and wore a beautiful dress with a v-neck.

This is not the actual dress but is similar: http://www.fashionablebride.com/asse...Bliss13BL1.jpg

The straps were wide enough to cover her nursing bra, and there was enough 'give' in the neckline to allow her to pull the fabric aside to nurse. She had a wrap made in the same fabric to cover herself while nursing.

    Good luck!
