Updated recommended OBGYN's???
Hello all,
I have been scouring through this forum looking and various posts in trying to be as prepared as possible for when we get pregnant. I am planning on doing the "half/half" where I will see a private doctor, but deliver (public) at Queen Mary.
Any updated recommendations on doctors to see? I don't really care about who is famous, but just GOOD doctors out there? (on HK island...)
The doctor would need to be ok with me not delivering with them...
Thanks in advance for any help/recommendations!

I was very happy with my doctor when I gave birth recently - Dr Poddar at OT&P. I was all private so no idea if he does half and half, but I have a feeling he does though.

For my last pregnancy, I saw Dr. Eric Lee in Prince's Building in Central. I ended up switching to a doctor in Tseung Kwan O where I live but found Dr. Lee very kind, patient and he had no problems with my decision to go half and half. Although I was not delivering with him, he said I could call him if I needed help and he answered my call promptly once when I paged him panic-stricken about some spotting.

A friend of mine is seeing Dr Doo for private antenatal care and will deliver at Queen Mary - she's very happy with him.

I would go to see Dr Sally Ferguson. As she is not longer delivering at the Matilda at the moment I'm sure she is much more available and open to private/public patients. She is very good and pro natural.
