When did your LO sprout their first tooth?

My little girl is almost 6.5 months and I've been convinced that she's been teething for some time now but no sign of teeth (not that I'm a hurry!)

She bites my nipple on occasion but since being firm about not biting she's been better.

I think that both of my children got their first teeth around 8-9-months-old.
“Many women have described their experiences of childbirth as being associated with a
spiritual uplifting, the power of which they have never previously been aware …
To such a woman childbirth is a monument of joy within her memory.
She turns to it in thought to seek again an ecstasy which passed too soon.”

There is such a huge range of what is "normal" for teething. It is not unheard of that some babies are even BORN with a tooth or two!! My first daughter was considered an early teether - she had her first at 3.5-4 months from memory, and by the time she was 8 months old, she had 8 teeth. My 2nd daughter was later - she got her first around 8 months old from memory. We have friends whose kids didn't get their first teeth until much later - 12 months, or some were even after that...

My older had first teeth at around 8 month and my second teeth around 9 month. I was worried that my second won't teeth until after one year old. They did start drooling and biting from very earlier on, like 4 month.

My friend's daughter had no teeth when she turned one. She got a lot of pressure from her Chinee family. They thought she is not feeding her the right food.

My son got his first tooth when he was 9 months old (he was 3 months premie though) and my daughter got her first when she was 8 months old.... and got 5 in a week! My son was showing signs of teething for a long time before he got them and with my daughter there were no signs at all.
