I did the class with Jeanne at Birth Story www.doulabirthstory.com, she is great!
She can do private classes to your place if needed.

I went with Jeanne at Birth Story. She can do private (at your place) or group classes (in causeway bay). Very dynamic and great classes (we did private so we could choose our schedule as my husband is often out of town for business trips).

    Familyzone Classes

    Hiya

I would recommend Familyzone's classes. We did the 3 hour intensive one on the weekends and it was really good. Very informative without getting too technical and Yvonne was quite knowledgeable. These were the last dates we had been sent by email:

    December 4, 11 & 18, 2012

    January 10, 17 & 24, 2012

    January 12 & 19, 2013

    Hope this is of help.

    Cheers

    Kirti

    Hi All

I'm 16 wks and due end of March 2014. Will deliver at Queen Mary and have started antinatal checks at Tsan Yuk hospital. So far i'm really pleased with the service, albeit a little slow!

I have signed up for 3 (English) antinatal classes they offer but am on the waiting list for 2 classes
(birth ball and breathing techniques). Unfortunately, their paperwork said fathers must attend 3 of the 5 classes to be allowed in to the birth room (and for me to be able to use the birth ball!). Of course, 2 of those 3 he needs to be at are the ones i'm on the waiting list for. Argh!!!

So, what am i to do now? Has anyone else been in this position before? Is it possible to do classes elsewhere and have them write a letter of completion to show QMH? I am adamant that hubby should be by my side during birth, but what can we do if all of Tsan Yuk's English antinatal classes are full?
Any ideas or experience would be appreciated. Thanks!!
