    City Mini Single Stroller

Do the benefits outweigh the bulkiness and weight concern? How about the unavoidable and rare chances of using it on the escalator, is it doable?

I have an 18-month old so looking for a new stroller for her. B2B lady suggests getting a Maclaren Triumph but I'm liking how stable the City looks :-)

    Thanks.

We have the city mini single and it's fantastic. No problems on the escalator at all. We found for our toddler she was more comfortable with the belly bar attachment to hold onto though.
Now she has outgrown it and I am using it for baby #2. I bought the bassinet that attaches to it (although it is suitable as is for a newborn) and with that you need to use lifts as the baby is not strapped in, or you can use the maxi cosi also for a baby.
It's easy to get up and down steps and it quite stable for walking. Also it's easy to push one handed, and you can't go past the folding - totally one handed - which makes it great for getting into and out of taxis.

Thanks Flack. Until what age was your toddler using the City Mini? I'm hoping for baby no. 2 but don't know when it'll come :-) My daughter is 18 months now.

She was in it until 3. I think an averaged size child would fit until 4, she just got to the point where she refused to go in the stroller and wanted to walk.
